Hathaway is a Portland native and grew up exploring the outdoors with her family. She has been an avid stand up paddler since age seven and is excited to share that passion with the Cascadia SUP and Surf SUP Camps. Her love and respect for the water and competition started in swimming where she constantly sought new challenges including multiple completions of the Columbia River Cross Channel swim. She is currently a NCAA Division 1 student athlete at Saint Mary’s College of California on the women’s rowing team. When she’s not training for rowing or teaching stand up paddling she can be found in all water conditions, from paddling loops around Ross Island, to waist-high rollers at Short Sands Beach on her beloved longboard or blasting 30+mph downwind runs in the Columbia River Gorge.
Hathaway has been a part of the Cascadia Crew since 2021 and also brings her caring, skilled water womanhood to our CHILL Foundation programs!
